Dakota TU Tree Planting Event

Family Park (Hyw 42 and S. Ellis Rd) in Sioux Falls, SD

We had great member participation!

Seven trees were planted on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

We started at 9:30am and finished an hour later!

That's getting it done!

We helped Trout Unlimited celebrate Earth Day, Arbor Day and National

Volunteer's Week (April 22 -May 1).

Our Tree Planting Event was not just for Dakota TU members, it was for any and all

who have a love for our environment and want to make it better for future

generations.

"Earth is our Turf"!

"Take Back the Trash" Cleanup Event!

Not just for Dakota TU members!

This event is open to whomever wants to give back to Mother Nature.

(The Take Back the Trash event is part of the SD GF&P's Adopt A Lake Program)

When: Saturday, May 13, 2023 (in case of rain-May 20)

Time: 9:30am to Noon

Where: Location 1--Rollin GPA in Hudson, SD

Location 2--Lake Vermillion, meet at the East boat ramp

parking area.

(water and sack lunch provided)

Join us for the whole shabang or come and go as you please.

Saturday evening, after a day of fishing, we gather for dinner, socializing and

fish stories around the campfire.
